It all started with an antique door. I wanted to make the door into a table and photograph it in the desert for a bridal shoot. Now I have photographed hundreds of weddings over the years, but this was my first mock wedding. I had a vision and I went with it. I collected glass and glittered just about anything I could get my hands on. I made a chalkboard and cute little labels. With some help from my husband, I also built a completely original bridal table made from an old door and shutters. Personal antiques made the final touches. I enlisted a former wedding couple, Shauna and Danny, and some other wedding professionals to contribute their talents. Here is the result!
Susan Jacobson of An Enchanted Occasion created a beautiful chandelier (completely handmade!), and arranged all of the flowers, including the amazing bouquet and boutonniere! Susan’s assistant, Shawn, helped her arrange the flowers:)
Susan also added these lovely little decorations to my chairs!
Ellen Fowler of Chocolates By Ellen made this gorgeous wedding cake made entirely of her amazingly delicious handmade chocolates.
Hey, why not add some fresh fruit to your dessert table? Pick me!
These decanters are actually from me and my husband’s wedding!
Susan also made this beautiful bridal cuff!
Rose Kamp of Remmy Locks came up with a gorgeous design for the bride’s hair and the result was incredibly. She arranged the bride’s hair into small roses!
Chanda Harper from Simply Ravishing Salon did the bride’s make-up. She used amazing colors to make her eyes really pop!
With a lot of hard work and patience, my vision came to life. Thank you so very much to all of the amazingly talented people who helped so very much!! Again, here is a list of where you can see more from these great wedding professionals:
