And I realized that human connection and relationships are my true passion. On a wedding day, in a field, looking in to the eyes of a wonderful human in front of me.

When I was 13 years old I saved up and bought my first film camera. I taught myself everything there was to know by checking books out at the library and using my knowledge to photograph children of friends and families in the neighborhood. When I gave the moms their photos it was the first time I realized the magic of photography. I still remember the first compliment I got that really made me excited about this craft "You captured her personality just like she is around us" .
